According to a press release following the visit of the High Delegation of the Ministry of Interior to the Swiss Confederation and the Federal Republic of Germany from April 20 to 27, 2024, Cambodia commends Switzerland for its instrumental role in establishing Kantha Bopha Hospital and its unwavering commitment to providing sustainable medical services to children in Cambodia.

The press release highlights Switzerland's expressed willingness to continue supporting Cambodia's decentralization and deconcentration reform process, as well as strengthening the capacity of police officers and law enforcement agencies in combating cybercrimes, money laundering, and enhancing cybersecurity measures. Switzerland also pledges to contribute to capacity building for officials in sub-national institutions, further cementing bilateral ties between the two nations.

During the visit, discussions revolved around strengthening and expanding cooperation and development relations between Cambodia and both Switzerland and Germany. Key areas of focus include governance, health, education, agriculture, police training, prison management, and administration at all levels.
