In a significant revelation, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has updated Cambodia's GDP figures, showcasing a 35% surge compared to previous calculations. With the new GDP for 2023 standing at $41.9 billion, as reported by Mekong Strategic Capital (MSC), the nation's economic landscape is undergoing a profound transformation.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) had previously estimated Cambodia's GDP for 2023 at $31.9 billion, highlighting the substantial disparity that arose from the rebasing carried out in IMF figures.
