Air Cambodia Launches Daily Flights to Bangkok Amid Rebranding

The airline also boosts services to Hong Kong for Chinese New Year celebrations.
Cambodia Angkor Air officially rebranded as Air Cambodia on January first and is set to launch a new daily service between Phnom Penh and Bangkok starting February seventeenth. Despite the rebranding, the airline’s website and social media channels have yet to reflect the new identity, instead focusing on ticket sales for the upcoming flights. One-way fares are priced at seventy-nine United States Dollars, with roundtrip fares at one hundred and forty-three United States Dollars.

The airline will operate an Airbus A320 on the route, offering morning departures on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, and midday departures on Tuesday and Saturday. Additionally, Air Cambodia plans to increase flights between Phnom Penh and Hong Kong from three to five weekly between January sixteenth and February sixteenth to accommodate heightened travel demand during the Chinese New Year holiday.

With an existing fleet of two A320s, one A321, and two ATR72-500s, the airline has also signed a lease for three additional A320s set to arrive in the summer of twenty twenty-five. Backed by the Cambodian government and China’s Xing Gang Investment Group, Air Cambodia aims to strengthen its regional connectivity and presence in the aviation sector.
