Vietnamese NA Chairman Hosts Lao and Cambodian Businesswomen Delegations

Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man hosted a reception on July 4 for delegations of Lao and Cambodian women and female entrepreneurs attending a forum in Hanoi aimed at connecting businesswomen from the three countries.
Man emphasized Vietnam's commitment to strengthening its traditional friendships with Laos and Cambodia, fostering cooperation for mutual benefits and regional stability. He praised the role of the Lao and Cambodian women's unions in advancing women's rights and leading women's movements in their countries.

The meeting highlighted Vietnam's achievements in gender equality, including its election to the Executive Board of the UN Women for 2025-2027. Man expressed confidence in continued cooperation among the women's unions to enhance women's development and gender equality.
