ASEAN Startup Award Creates Possibilities for Cambodian Innovators.

ERIA's Initiative Seeks to Enhance Regional Entrepreneurship
The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) has introduced the One ASEAN Startup Award 2025: Bridge to Brilliance, designed to support promising startups throughout the region, with particular emphasis on Cambodia. Cambodian startups are invited to participate in the Vietnam Pre-Event, which also encompasses Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Two winners from each pre-event will be awarded a research grant to aid in business growth and assist ERIA with their research initiatives.

Startups eligible for this program must currently have, or aim to establish, operations in Cambodia or other specified countries. They should be at the Pre-Seed to Series B development stage and must propose a research topic for collaboration with ERIA. The cutoff date for the Vietnam Pre-Event, including participation from Cambodia, is March 30, 2025. This initiative offers Cambodian startups opportunities for funding, research collaborations, and the potential for regional market growth.
