Cambodia Allocates Over 200 Million USD for Border Ring Road

Ambitious Infrastructure Project to Enhance Border Connectivity
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has announced plans to allocate over 200 million USD for the completion of the “Border Ring Road” within the next 10 years. With approximately 1,300 kilometers already constructed, accounting for 50% of the road’s total planned length, the remaining sections are expected to be finished over the next decade. The Prime Minister also launched the Border Infrastructure Development Fund (BIDF) to gather additional contributions, with nearly 400,000 citizens already supporting the initiative aimed at improving infrastructure along Cambodia’s borders.
