Cambodian authorities have arrested two young men in connection with two separate drug trafficking operations, seizing over 30 kilograms of narcotics in Phnom Penh.

In the first case, police raided a rented room in Meanchey district on February 6, uncovering 15 kilograms of drugs, including MDMA, ketamine, and an unidentified crystalline substance. The suspect, 21-year-old Nhy Chanvut, was arrested in Svay Rieng province the following day and charged with drug trafficking and conspiracy.

In a separate case on February 10, police arrested 20-year-old Heng Samnang in Tuol Kork district. He was found with nearly 18 kilograms of ketamine. Both suspects have been sent to court as authorities continue investigations to identify other individuals involved.
