Mr. Vichit Ith, the new CEO of CTB, highlighted the need for diversifying Cambodia's tourism offerings beyond Angkor Wat to enhance its global competitiveness and sustainability.

The workshop featured insights from distinguished speakers, including H.E. Sok Soken, Minister of Tourism, who presented the CTB action plan focusing on international market engagement and strengthening private sector connections. Emphasizing the need for a coordinated approach, the panelists discussed infrastructure deficiencies, evolving consumer behavior, and the importance of marketing Cambodia’s diverse attractions.
