HoSkar Night Returns to Phnom Penh, Boosting Regional Connections in Hospitality and Real Estate

Event Draws Nearly 300 Industry Leaders to Foster Networking and Collaboration
Phnom Penh saw the return of HoSkar Night, a prominent networking event organized by WeHub, bringing together nearly 300 developers, hoteliers, real estate professionals, and partners. The event aimed to connect local industry leaders with international investors and experts amid ongoing market evolution and recovery.

The Cambodian hospitality and real estate markets have experienced substantial growth, driven by foreign investments and rapid urbanization. Despite challenges, the sector is eager to adopt global trends and expand services. “HoSkar Night serves as a strategic platform that not only fosters local and global market connections but also facilitates essential dialogue on shared challenges and opportunities,” explained Mauro Gasparotti, Director of Savills Hotels and Founder of WeHub.

**Critical Industry Discussions**

Hosted at the TRIBE Phnom Penh Hotel, the event began with industry experts discussing critical topics, including conflict resolution during development, resort development nuances, and selecting operators and brands to enhance project value. “These discussions are vital for understanding industry dynamics and navigating market complexities,” Mauro added.

Following the discussions, a networking session provided participants with opportunities to build connections, explore partnerships, and engage in meaningful conversations. “Our networking sessions are where potential meets opportunity, providing a rich soil for ideas to grow and thrive,” said Mauro.

The event prioritized local developers, hotel owners, and senior professionals, ensuring key players in Cambodia’s economic development were well represented. Co-hosted by Hafele Cambodia and Savills Hotels, the event also received support from partners such as SALTO WECOSYSTEMS and Radisson Hotels Group, along with supporters including Seara Sports Systems Cambodia, Archetype Reality, the Cambodia Hotel Association, Architectural Engineering Consultants, EuroCham Cambodia, Confluences Trading, Cambodia Investment Review, PR Newswire, and Realestate.com.kh.

CIR Media’s collaboration as a media partner enhanced the event’s visibility and reach within the investment community. Harrison White, Editor of CIR Media, emphasized the importance of showcasing Cambodia’s growing real estate and hospitality sector to the wider HoSkar community. “Events like HoSkar Night are crucial for highlighting the potential of Cambodia’s markets to our regional peers,” Harrison stated.

HoSkar Night in Phnom Penh is part of a series of events planned across Southeast Asia, with future dates set for Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Hanoi, and Bangkok. This initiative aims to continue promoting collaboration and growth in the hospitality and real estate sectors throughout the region.
