Huawei is seeking to strengthen its collaboration with Cambodia's Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) to advance industrial digitalization in the country. This potential partnership was discussed during a meeting on Friday between MISTI Minister Hem Vanndy and Zhang Zhenjun, Vice President of Huawei Asia Pacific.

During the meeting, Zhang introduced Huawei's new leadership team in Cambodia and highlighted the company's ongoing operations in the country. He expressed Huawei's interest in supporting Cambodia’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through public cloud services, and shared that Huawei's talent development programs have trained over 3,000 Cambodian students and professionals to enhance local expertise in app development and digital skills.

Minister Vanndy praised Huawei for its significant contributions to Cambodia's technological progress and its strong focus on research and development. He encouraged Huawei to collaborate with Khmer Enterprise to further support SMEs by promoting entrepreneurship, embracing technology, and enhancing competitiveness. Vanndy also urged Huawei to make its services more accessible and affordable to a wider range of private sector players, aiming to assist local SMEs in staying competitive on a global scale.
