Prime Minister Hun Manet Calls for Integrity in Civil Servant Recruitment

Emphasizes Merit-Based Recruitment and Discourages Bribery
Prime Minister Hun Manet has called on all stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the recruitment exam for civil servants. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 2023 training course and the opening of the 2024 training course of the Royal School of Administration on Monday, June 10, 2024, he stressed the importance of recruiting based on real ability.

“I call on all members of the Commission and all stakeholders to join in promoting the establishment of accuracy, ensuring accuracy, and to ensure trust, ensure access by the ability of our officials, especially asking for the participation of candidates and families,” said Hun Manet.

He emphasized that aspiring civil servants must be self-reliant, confident, and knowledgeable, and should not resort to bribery. “Civil servants must start from themselves, have confidence, not invest, but invest in strength, physical strength, and hard work, not invest in investment to find money to bribe,” he stated.

Hun Manet highlighted that ensuring the accuracy and correctness of the recruitment exam is crucial for encouraging Cambodian youth to become officials who truly serve the people.
