Prime Minister Samdech Moha Bovarit Hun Manet led the annual ceremonies today in Phnom Penh, marking the conclusion of the 2023 training course and the commencement of the 2024 session at the Royal School of Administration. The event took place at the National Institute of Education.

For over 30 years, the Royal School of Administration has been pivotal in strengthening Cambodia’s public sector. Since its re-establishment in 1992, the school has trained 23,818 civil servants, including 5,017 women, through both long-term and short-term courses. In 2024, the school has initiated another training cycle for 393 civil servants, including 82 women.

The institution also conducted 200 new training sessions in 2023 for personnel from various ministries and sub-national administrative bodies, involving 879 women among a total of 603 participants in short-term courses.

Aligned with the Royal Government’s Phase 1 Pentagon Strategy, which emphasizes governance, modernization, job growth, equity, efficiency, and sustainability, the Royal School of Administration aims to become a modern, efficient, and transparent public administration. It plans to enhance cooperation with national and sub-national ministries and institutions, focusing on tailored training programs to meet the evolving needs of civil servants, driven by discipline, quality, virtue, and innovation.
