The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has announced that Pursat province’s Bridge No. 28, Cambodia's tallest bridge, will open temporarily from April 11 to 17 for public use. During this period, family cars can cross the bridge from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., while heavy vehicles, such as trucks, will be directed to use the bypass route.

The 537-meter-long bridge, which connects Battambang and Koh Kong provinces via Pursat, is being built by the China Road and Bridge Corporation. The $188 million project is expected to be completed by June. It stands 90 meters tall and spans the Russey Chrum River in Chhay Luk village.

Safety measures will be enforced during the public access period, with vehicles prohibited from stopping on the bridge. The opening provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to experience the bridge before its official completion.
