Cambodia Travel Match Connects Global Tourism Leaders in Kampot

Event fosters partnerships to promote Cambodia’s tourism industry
Cambodia Travel Match (CTM) 2024 has launched in Kampot province, bringing together buyers and sellers from eight countries to boost Cambodia’s tourism sector. The event features participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and beyond, alongside 60 Cambodian companies from Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kep, Kampot, and Preah Sihanouk.

Kampot Governor Mao Thonin welcomed the initiative, highlighting Kampot’s appeal with its beaches, agri-tourism, and cultural heritage. The province typically attracts up to 35,000 weekly visitors, with numbers rising to 40,000 during major events. Tourism Minister Huot Hak underscored the importance of collaboration, describing CTM as a platform to foster partnerships and showcase Cambodia’s tourism potential.

The event provides a structured space for participants to present products, exchange ideas, and build lasting partnerships. Organizers emphasized professionalism, encouraging sellers to represent Cambodia’s tourism industry at the highest standards.
