Turkey Plans to Expand Flights to Cambodia

Subheading: Ambassador Ülkü Kocaefe Discusses Enhanced Cooperation with Cambodian Officials
In a promising development for Cambodia's aviation sector and diplomatic ties, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Cambodia, Ülkü Kocaefe, revealed plans for Turkish Airlines to expand its flights to Cambodia. During a courtesy call and discussion with Prime Minister Hun Sen, Kocaefe emphasized the potential for increased connectivity between the two nations, which could boost tourism and deepen people-to-people relations. The ambassador also highlighted Turkey's commitment to strengthening cooperation in the region and sought Cambodia's support in enhancing Turkey's relations with ASEAN. Additionally, Kocaefe expressed satisfaction with the growing bilateral relations between Cambodia and Turkey, including efforts to elevate trade volume to 1 billion dollars and enhance educational cooperation, such as providing scholarships to Cambodian students. As a gesture of goodwill, Kocaefe conveyed congratulations to Hun Sen on his election as President of the Senate and offered condolences for the recent loss of Cambodian soldiers.
