In a recent meeting between Cambodian Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, Heng Sour, and a delegation from Kojima Holdings of Japan, plans for the establishment of 'Khmer Village' in Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, took center stage. The collaboration aims to create a vibrant cultural hub that celebrates Cambodian traditions and fosters cross-cultural connections.

Takeshi Okami, Managing Director of Kojima Holdings, affirmed the company's commitment to making Khmer Village a must-visit destination for tourists and residents alike. With a focus on showcasing Khmer culture through various attractions, including food, jewelry, coffee shops, and agricultural products, the initiative promises to offer a rich cultural experience.

Minister Heng Sour expressed appreciation for the dedication shown by the Japanese team in promoting Cambodian culture abroad. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to fostering cultural exchange and strengthening the bonds between Cambodia and Japan.
