Officials clarified that fires in Cambodia’s Veal Veng district were minor and did not involve dense forest. They emphasized that Cambodian authorities closely monitor and manage such incidents. Meanwhile, Thai officials continue battling fires in Trat province, where landmine explosions have complicated firefighting efforts.
