During a recent meeting in Bern, Alexandre Fasel, Secretary of State at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, and Sar Sokha, Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, discussed the ongoing collaboration aimed at empowering local officials involved in these reforms.

Sokha expressed gratitude for Switzerland's assistance, particularly in bolstering the capabilities of Cambodian law enforcement agencies to combat cybercrimes, money laundering, and promote social accountability at the sub-national level.

Moreover, Sokha shared plans for his upcoming visit to Switzerland and Germany, where he aims to glean insights and best practices in decentralization and governance reforms to further propel Cambodia's progress in this domain.
