Emirates Named World’s Best Airline by Telegraph Travel

Latest accolade enhances Emirates' reputation with extensive global awards
Emirates has been named the ‘World’s Best Airline’ among 90 global carriers in a recent study by Telegraph Travel. This prestigious accolade comes shortly after Emirates relaunched its daily Phnom Penh to Dubai flights via Singapore in May, an event celebrated with a ceremony attended by Cambodia’s Minister of Civil Aviation, His Excellency Mao Havannall.

Telegraph Travel evaluated over thirty criteria, including punctuality, baggage allowance, route network, fleet age, rewards programs, and in-flight meal quality. Emirates excelled in nearly every category, particularly praised for its spacious Airbus A380s, exceptional premium economy, and top-tier business and first-class services. Operating flights to 140 cities across 77 countries, Emirates was also voted the best long-haul carrier by 30,000 Telegraph Travel readers.

In addition to this top honor, Emirates has amassed 19 other awards in 2024 from renowned organizations such as Skytrax, Pax International Magazine, Business Traveller Middle East Awards, World Travel Awards, International Loyalty Awards, and AirlineRatings.com. These awards recognize Emirates’ excellence in areas like in-flight entertainment, first-class amenities, family-friendly services, and its comprehensive Skywards rewards program.

Starting October 27, 2024, Emirates will enhance its service between Phnom Penh, Singapore, and Dubai with a new flight schedule operated by modern Boeing 777 aircraft. Flight EK 349 will depart Phnom Penh at 21:30, arriving in Singapore at 00:30 the next day, followed by a two-hour layover before reaching Dubai at 06:00. Conversely, flight EK 348 will leave Dubai at 04:30, arrive in Singapore at 15:40, and then continue to Phnom Penh at 18:25. This schedule offers travelers greater flexibility and comfort, reinforcing Emirates’ commitment to providing exceptional service.

Emirates emphasizes that it does not pay to enter any awards or polls and is not affiliated with any of the recognized accolades.
