In a celebration of skill-building and opportunity, the recent "HoKa Skills Day 2024" marked a significant milestone for Cambodia's tourism sector. Hosted by the Hospitality Kampuchea (HoKa) Steering Committee under the Ministry of Tourism, the event showcased the successful training of 4,556 disadvantaged youths across 10 provinces.

Themed "Tourism Investment, Human Resources Investment," the event brought together key figures, including government officials and representatives from Swisscontact, highlighting the collaborative efforts driving this initiative. With a focus on enhancing skills and expertise in the tourism industry, the training programs aim to empower Cambodia's youth while supporting the growth and sustainability of the country's tourism sector.

The training efforts not only provide disadvantaged youths with valuable skills but also contribute to the development of Cambodia's economy. By equipping individuals with the necessary tools to succeed in the hospitality industry, this initiative lays the foundation for a brighter future, both for the participants and for Cambodia as a whole.
