The newly opened Shangri-La Phnom Penh, located in the vibrant Koh Pich neighborhood, welcomed guests on December 28, 2024. Part of a 228-meter tri-tower complex, one of the tallest in the city, the hotel offers 303 rooms with panoramic views of the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Tonle Bassac rivers.

The hotel’s interiors showcase a fusion of Art Deco, neo-classical, and Khmer influences, with guestrooms featuring wood and stone finishes, enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows. Dining options include Kommune Dining & Social Space, highlighting Khmer cuisine, with Shang Palace and a rooftop bar set to open later this year. Facilities like an infinity pool, spa, and ballroom will launch in phases following the hotel’s grand opening.
