Residents in Snampuk Village, Veal Pong Commune, Kampong Speu province, are grappling with a significant challenge as the Veal Pong water station experiences its first-ever disruption in clean water supply. The river, which serves as the station's water source, has dried up due to the ongoing dry season and impacts of climate change, leading to concerns about livelihoods and public health.

The Veal Pong water station, operating for four years, took to Facebook to inform customers about the situation, stating that there is insufficient water to meet normal supply demands.
