Mola Tin, Infrastructure Lead at CAPRED, shared her initial struggles with rapidly advancing technologies, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and mutual support among women to overcome these obstacles. Vorn Chanraksmey, CEO of EGE, discussed the cultural and traditional barriers she faced while traveling for work, highlighting the crucial role of family support and personal determination in her success within the sector.

The panel unanimously agreed on the necessity of providing more training opportunities to equip young women with the skills required for the evolving clean energy landscape. Theary Uch, Deputy Country Manager at Onion Mobility, stressed the importance of developing specialized Bachelor, Master’s, and PhD programs focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). She advocated for collaboration between the private sector, government, and educational institutions to create high-level training initiatives that can prepare women for future demands in renewable energy.
