Cambodia is set to host the renowned Gumball 3000 rally this September, an event known for its extravagant display of supercars and celebrity participants. The rally, which spans 3,000 miles across multiple countries, will feature around 130 high-performance vehicles and a star-studded cast of celebrities, entrepreneurs, and influencers. The 25th Anniversary Rally will start in Vietnam on September 14 and conclude in Singapore on September 22, coinciding with the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Kuch Pannhasa, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Tourism, highlighted the event's objectives: showcasing Cambodia as a safe destination, creating business and investment opportunities, engaging in charity and fundraising, and breaking a world record. Notably, the rally will raise funds to build a floating soccer field in Kampong Khleang, the largest floating village in Siem Reap province, and aims to break the world record for the most sports cars, supercars, and hypercars gathered at Angkor Wat.

The Gumball 3000 rally promises to attract massive crowds, including locals and tourists, with public gatherings and events planned throughout the rally's route. The Ministry of Tourism sees this event as a significant contributor to Cambodia's long-term tourism strategy, promoting luxury travel experiences and showcasing the country's prosperity, peace, and political stability.
