Dai-ichi Life Cambodia has reaffirmed its commitment to improving children’s healthcare by making a significant donation to Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC). The handover ceremony took place at AHC, attended by senior executives from Dai-ichi Life Asia Pacific, Dai-ichi Life Cambodia, and AHC’s leadership team.

AHC provides free, life-saving care to over 100,000 children annually, serving an average of 300-400 patients daily. To support these essential services, the hospital launched its 2025 fundraising campaign with an event featuring its founder, Mr. Kenro Izu. Dai-ichi Life Cambodia demonstrated its support by contributing to the campaign on the same day.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dai-ichi Life Cambodia CEO Mah Kin Yoong emphasized the company’s commitment to healthcare, stating, “As a father, I understand the importance of accessible, high-quality medical care for children. Dai-ichi Life is dedicated to making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.”

AHC CEO Professor Dr. Ngoun Chanpheaktra expressed gratitude for the donation, highlighting its role in ensuring continued medical services for vulnerable children.
